Dave Azzam, Vice President of Business DevelopmentDave Azzam is responsible for Enerparc’s project pipeline, covering origination, acquisitions, development, and commercial structuring. He establishes and manages strategic-channel partnerships to procure early- to late-stage development assets. His team of project developers completes the development of acquired assets to deliver them into financing. He also analyzes market data to support the CEO in shaping Enerparc’s market-access strategy. Mr. Azzam joined Enerparc in early 2016 and has been working in renewable-energy development since 2008. He started at Acciona Energy as a structured financial analyst and project developer, and then he worked with E.ON Climate & Renewables as Director of Project Development and Acquisitions as well as Director of Energy Storage. At E.ON, his team successfully originated and developed one of the first major energy-storage contracts in the US: a 10-MW/2.5-MWh lithium-ion project with Tucson Electric Power, which was successfully built in 2017. Mr. Azzam has over ten years of experience leading internal and external teams in development, M&A, and project finance, resulting in the successful connection of 150 megawatts of distributed utility-scale projects across the US. Mr. Azzam obtained an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2009.

Bryan Banke,
Director of Asset Management
Bryan Banke, Director of Asset ManagementBryan Banke is responsible for Enerparc’s portfolio of operating projects in the US. Being an early creator of standardized operating policies and procedures in the management of solar-asset portfolios, he is well suited to lead multi-disciplinary activities. His ideas and extensive knowledge of real-world operations have been published and presented before numerous industry conferences and working groups. Prior to joining the Enerparc family, Mr. Banke managed NRG Energy’s distributed-generation portfolios before assuming control of the solar and wind operations for Renewable Energy Trust Capital.

Patrick Schaufelberger,
Director of Project Finance

Patrick Schaufelberger, Director of Project FinancePatrick Schaufelberger is responsible for the company’s project-financing efforts, raising tax equity, debt, and construction capital. Prior to joining Enerparc, Mr. Schaufelberger was Director of Capital Markets at Spruce Finance, where he was a key member of the project-finance team that raised over $1 billion in tax equity and debt for residential solar portfolios. Prior to that, Mr. Schaufelberger was a member of the project finance team at Tioga Energy, a commercial solar developer, successfully financing over $30 million in commercial solar projects. Mr. Schaufelberger began his foray into renewable energy as a partner of Emergent Energy Group, a Boston-based wind- and solar-consulting start-up that was voted “Top 25 under 25” by Businessweek in 2009. He has also worked at Deutsche Bank and BNP Paribas. Mr. Schaufelberger earned a Bachelor of Science cum laude in Quantitative Economics and International Relations from Tufts University in 2009.
